Today I am back to writing about PLR after yesterday’s review post. One of the biggest problems many people have is finding your PLR after you have purchased it. The next issue is remembering what you have used.
Organizing Your PLR
Here’s how I do this.
I create specific folders:
PLR Purchases – I leave the original pack in this folder and copy it into a new subfolder such as Health PLR – Self Improvement PLR etc. If the PLR is for a specific site then label that folder accordingly.
This also helps you remember who you purchased your packs from and where to buy from again.
PLR Topic – I now work from this new folder and rewrite the PLR. Once it is finished I move it into the next folder as follows:
PLR Used – again make subfolder relating to where you used the content. I often create a quick txt file and add notes and dates to it. This way I can remember what project, date and format I used for this PLR. You can also go one step further and write notes about how much you changed and any other relevant notes.
If you have ideas for new ways of where and how to use this content, make a note, so that you can refer back to it again.
If you put a system in place now you will know where to find your PLR, how you used it and the when and why. Plus you will still have an original copy to work from. Remember the great thing about PLR is that you can use it multiple times, it’s not a disposable one time use product.
You can make this entire process as simple or as complicated as you like. I would suggest that you keep it simple. It can also be helpful to tag your file names with how you used the PLR.

I have also created a PLR Inventory sheet that can help you track your PLR purchases and remember how and where you used them.
Download it for free here:
I would love to hear if this blog post has helped you organize your PLR packs, and please let me know what system you have in place.
Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.
